- General: Who do you serve?
- We serve individuals, expatriates, NRIs, freelancers, small business owners, and US LLC founders across all 50 states. Our expertise is strongest in cross-border filings, multi-state returns, and entity structuring for international founders.
- General: What is an NRI tax return?
- An NRI (Non-Resident Indian) tax return in the US context typically means Form 1040-NR, filed by individuals who are not US tax residents but earned US-source income. It covers wages, investment income, real estate, and treaty positions under the US-India tax treaty.
- General: Are you an IRS Authorized e-File Provider?
- Yes. TaxBridge Advisory is an IRS Authorized e-File Provider with an active PTIN, and our preparers are members of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
- Services: Do you file state returns?
- Yes. We file in every US state. State returns are included with most packages, and additional states are quoted upfront before we begin.
- Services: What is FBAR and do I need to file?
- FBAR (FinCEN Form 114) is the Foreign Bank Account Report. You must file if the combined balance of your foreign financial accounts exceeded $10,000 at any point during the tax year. We handle FBAR alongside FATCA (Form 8938) when applicable.
- Services: Can you help me form an LLC?
- Yes. We handle end-to-end LLC formation in any state — including EIN registration, operating agreements, registered agent service, and S-Corp election when appropriate.
- Process: How long does it take to file my return?
- Most individual returns are completed within 3–5 business days of receiving all required documents. Complex cases (multi-state, business, FBAR/FATCA) typically take 7–10 business days.
- Process: What documents do I need?
- It depends on your situation, but typically: W-2s, all 1099s, prior-year return, ID/passport, and details on deductions. After you book, we send a personalized checklist through your secure portal.
- Process: Do you e-file or paper file?
- We e-file every return that the IRS accepts electronically. Paper filing is reserved for prior-year amendments and certain non-resident returns the IRS still requires on paper.
- Pricing: Are there hidden fees?
- No. We quote a flat fee before any work begins. If your scope changes (new state, additional schedules), we revise the quote in writing first — you never see a surprise on the invoice.
- Pricing: Do you offer refunds?
- If we have not started preparing your return, we offer a full refund. Once preparation has begun, refunds are issued on a pro-rata basis. See our Refund Policy for details.
- Pricing: How do I pay?
- We accept Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PhonePe, and UPI. Invoices are sent securely through the client portal.
- Portal: How do I upload documents?
- After you sign in to the client portal, your dashboard shows a personalized checklist. Drag and drop files into the upload zone — we accept PDF, JPG, and PNG up to 10 MB per file.
- Portal: Is my data secure?
- Yes. Files are stored in a private encrypted bucket and only ever accessed through short-lived signed URLs. Row-level security ensures that only you and your assigned preparer can see your documents.
- Portal: Can I review my return before it's filed?
- Yes. Once your preparer uploads the draft, you'll see it in the portal with options to approve and file, or request changes with feedback.
